Stunning. It looks as if the BBC has joined the "Global Warming Deniers Club" after boldly noting that the warmest year in the recent past was not 2008 or 2007, but 1998.
The article on their web site notes that although carbon dioxide levels have increased over the last ten years, there has not been an increase in global temperatures.
This must have several special interest groups shaking in the taxpayer subsidized boots. Here is the BBC's article:
